Accelrys logo

Accelrys is a US software design company with offices also in Europe and Japan. It designs software for chemical research, especially for drug discovery and materials science.



Accelrys started in 2001 from the fusion of: Molecular Simulations Inc. (MSI), Synopsys Scientific Systems, Oxford Molecular, the Genetics Computer Group (GCG), and Synomics Ltd. In 2004, Accelrys acquired SciTegic.



The logo was designed by an internal Accelrys designer in 2001.
